A great evening here on One Voice From Africa as I chatted about various routes in South Africa . . . reliving childhood memories of growing up South African and privileged to have had so many encounters within the Animal Kingdom.

South African Airways came in at the top of the first hour in the segment"Have You Heard" as I talked of several reasons to fly SAA to Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International (and beyond). The airline is indeed a member of the Star Alliance team.

South African Tourism deserves great praise at promoting South Africa, particularly at the recent New York Time Travel Expo this past weekend here in New York City. Congratulations to Sthu Zungu and her terrific team for displaying South Africa in such a grand manner. And special 'kudos' to the very same team for landing ABC’s "The Bachelor" on location in South Africa. Tune in to The Bachelor on ABC for the final episode on Monday, March 14 at 8:00PM (ET) and enter to win the trip of your dreams – a stunning journey to South Africa.

I am delighted to welcome Ndela Edwards to One Voice From Africa! She and I will co-host "The Cultural Connection," a new feature on Wednesdays in the first hour. A fine lady, a great friend, and an immaculate travel planner in every sense of the word – in advance – Welcome Ndela – I cannot wait (as they say) to get the show on the road!

Presented by National Geographic Entertainment and Botswana Tourism,"The Last Lions" is in theaters now. Check your local listings and see this magnificent masterpiece of survival as filmed by Dereck and Beverly Joubert and told by Academy Award Winning Jeremy Irons.

Laurika Rauch, the multi-talented South African performer sang Hot Gatesthis evening to a 'full-house' -  Laurika, our sincerest gratitude to you for sharing the depth of your talent with us.

Michael Gonzalez-Wallace shifts to Thursdays moving forward and we look forward to his ongoing series "Fit To Travel" – visit Michael at SUPER BODY SUPER BRAIN when you can.

We’re looking most forward to becoming more associated with "AFRICAN SAFARI GURU" Matthew Grace and as our segment evolves, we’ll constantly keep you updated. You’ll not want to miss his reports from remote parts of Africa!

I hope to have Jon share his passion and brief us on Miakoda: Power Of The Moon with us on One Voice From Africa in the very near future.
